Ephesians 1:1-14

I had the best time with God last week - every day I read this passage and focused on a different aspect of it.  I feel like I really know the content because it was so powerful and real to me.  We have been blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing :
- God chose us to be holy and blameless
- He adopted us as His children
- He pours out His grace on us
- We have been redeemed and forgiven
- We have the hope of eternity with Him and we have the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of that promise.

Amazing stuff.  It puts all our problems into perspective, with those blessings how can we complain about anything??  I have been so grateful for these blessings all week.

I also thought the word "mystery" was interesting and did a little digging on that word.  I will write what I found if anyone is interested but don't want to bore you.

I resurrected my scripture memory system and last week I memorized Hebrews 13:17.

So this week join me in studying the rest of chapter 1- verses 15-23.

Please write on this blog how you are all doing with your quality time with God, just you and His Word.  Or make any other comments too.  Don't leave me on here all alone!!!

Let's get transformed!

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

The only way to do this is to be IN God's Word, every day.

Here is a suggestion of what to do :

Read the passage of scripture every day for a week. Answer 3 questions :
1.  What is it about? : Facts only : where, what, who etc
2.  What lessons do you see?
3.  How can you apply those lessons to a situation in your life TODAY?

Pray and ask God to help you, surrender to Him and let Him transform you into His likeness.

Memorize one verse a week - whatever verse you like.
